"The Lost Years of Jesus" by Elizabeth Clare Prophet
Where was arguably the most well renowned person in modern recorded history from ages thirteen to thirty? The New Testament is completely silent about this time period. Legends in the Far East, as well as documented evidence show that Jesus left home at age thirteen, traveled to the Far East, and spent his youth as a student and teacher of the Hindu, Buddhist, as well as possibly Islamic texts. The four main sources one can reference are found in Elizabeth Clare Prophet? book, ?he Lost Years of Jesus? They are: Russian Journalist Nicholas Notovich, who discovered the Buddhist texts on the life of St. Issa(Jesus) at the Himis Monastery at Leh, Ledak in 1887. His accounts are published in the book, ?he Unknown Life of Jesus Christ? Russian artist, archeologist, and mystic Nicholas Roerich, who confirmed Notovichs findings, and also discovered in his Asian expedition (1924-28), that the legends of St. Issa are known far and wide throughout Asia. Swami Abhedananda, scholar, teacher, and disciple of the Indian Saint Ramakrishna, also confirmed Notovitchs findings in his book, ?n Kashmir and Tibet released in 1927. During World War Two, the main disciple of Maria Montessori, Dr. Elisabeth Caspari, who had not known of the previous discoveries of Jesus journeys to the Far East, encountered a monk at the Himis Monastery who claimed, ?hese books say your Jesus was here! A supreme Court Justice, Cultural Anthropologist, and seasoned travelers have also discovered these manuscripts. We find in the manuscripts recounted by these sources, teachings Jesus gave on the extolling of woman, reincarnation, and the challenges he hurled at the High Priests in India, and Zoroastrian Priests in Kabul for their misuses of power and cults of idolatry. Other sources to investigate are the book by the German scholar Holger Kersten, ?esus Lived in India? and the book ?ing of Travelers by Edward T. Martin. Once understood and applied, this new light on the life and teachings of the great mystic Jesus the Christ will shake the foundations of modern Christianity and Western Thought.
